By 2030, one out of every five Americans will be older than 65, yet fewer than 7,500 geriatricians practice in the U.S. A new study discovered that low levels of gut bacteria put children at higher risk for asthma later in life. Hospital errors affect thousands of patients each year and in some cases, those mistakes contribute to more than 200,000 deaths in the U.S.
