Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission - 03-09-2017
The Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission meets on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in Room 1948, 19th Floor of the Riffe Center for Government and the Arts.
The Commission hears a second presentation and hold a vote on three reports and recommendations for no change:
Article VI, Section 5 (Loans for Higher Education);
Article VI, Section 6 (Tuition Credits Program); and
Article VIII, Sections 2l, 2m, 2n, 2o, 2p, 2q, 2r, and
2s (Additional Authorization of Debt Obligations).
The Commission hears a first presentation of reports and recommendations for no change to Article II, Sections 3, 4, 5, and 11 (Member Qualifications and Vacancies in the General Assembly) and Article II, Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, and 14 (Conducting Business of the General Assembly).
The Commission may hear a first presentation of reports and recommendations for no change to Article II, Sections 10 and 12 (Rights and Privileges of Members of the General Assembly), and Article V, Section 2a (Names on the Ballot).
