State Rep. and Ohio House Democratic Women's Caucus (OHDWC) Chair Tavia Galonski (D-Akron) will join Ohio House and Senate Democratic women lawmakers for the eight annual Women's Lobby Day on Thursday, May 2 at the Riffe Center in Columbus. The legislative program, featuring a panel of OHDWC members, begins at 10:00 a.m.
The annual event brings elected officials and advocates together to discuss and lobby for policy solutions to the many challenges Ohio women and families still face today. The program will include policy briefings from women lawmakers and allow guests the opportunity to meet and lobby with legislators during the afternoon.
