2008 Ohio Summit on Children

The purpose of this recording is to focus on the safety and well being of children in Ohio. This goal is executed by interviewing children currently and formerly involved in the Ohio foster care system. "Voices of Ohio Children" provides a testimonial on how many systems and people impact the life of a child who is seeking a permanent home and conveys life for children in the 21st century in Ohio.
The challenge for adults for this segment of the Summit is to begin to see how children view the world and the circumstances in which they find themselves.

Overall Mission Statement:
To provide leadership and resources for local communities to enhance the safety, well-being and permanent home environments for children using consistent, effective and fair processes throughout Ohio.
