Stories in the Stones

Located at Alum Creek State Park, the H.R. Collins Laboratory is the state archive of geological samples and data and the headquarters of the Ohio Seismic Network. A visit to the Lab reveals secrets of Ohio's past and a glimpse of our geologic future.

Farmland Forever

Between 1950 and 2000, Ohio lost more than 6.9 million acres of farmland. The Ohio Farmland Preservation program provides funding to farmland owners which will guarantee the land remains in agriculture.

The Winds Café

For more than 30 years, The Winds Cafe in Yellow Springs has been blowing foodies away with a local flavor provided by neighboring farmers.
