Governor Ted Strickland

Description
Ohio Governor Ted Strickland signs House Bill 313, which will establish land banks as part of the state's urban agenda. The bill authorizes a county with a population greater than 60,000 to organize a county land reutilization corporation (CLRC) to acquire property from foreclosures and receive donations of land from private and public entities. House Bill 313 is also known as the "Land Bank Bill." Former State Rep. Peter Ujvagi (D-Toledo), sponsor of the bill, joins the governor for this press conference.
