The State of Ohio

Description
The tax war between lawmakers and the developers of Ohio's four casinos rages on as one developer halts construction on two casino facilities. Ohio's economy is improving, and Gov. Kasich is suggesting that could mean another tax cut next year.

One of the biggest changes in the budget is the revamping of the Ohio Department of Development, the state's leading job creation and retention agency, into the private entity JobsOhio. Critics say JobsOhio violates seven sections of the Ohio constitution, and they were also concerned about Kasich's appointment of his friend Mark Kvamme to head the agency, since he's not an Ohio resident. Lawsuits were filed, and Kasich moved Kvamme into a new position as director of job creation. And Kvamme now reveals he's in the process of changing his residency status while putting together JobsOhio. Mark Kvamme sits down for his first broadcast interview since those lawsuits, and since he lived through a serious accident that broke many bones in his face.
