Diversity & Inclusion: AAMD Symposium
This discussion explores the concept of diversity and inclusion from the perspective of not only art museums, but other public entities, such as foundations and businesses.
The moderator for the public event will be Thelma Golden, someone who has explored this issue and has deep knowledge about the challenges of diversity and inclusion within the art museum sector. She will be joined by Jeff Chang, and Dr. Ratna Omidvar. Jeff Chang is currently the Executive Director of Diversity and the Arts at Stanford University, and has also written extensively on culture, politics, the arts, and music. Dr. Ratna Omidvar is the founding Executive Director of the Global Diversity Exchange (GDX) at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University. GDX is a think and do tank on diversity, migration and inclusion that connects local experience and ideas with global networks.
