Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. Our Ohio revisits the VanScoy farm to see how its hydroponic operation is progressing.
Columbus Produce Terminal
Our Ohio follows sweet corn as it's picked on the Michael Farm in Urbana and then is quickly delivered to the bustling Columbus Produce Terminal. At the terminal, produce from Ohio farms is loaded onto waiting trucks to be delivered to local groceries and markets.
