One of the most devastating diseases in America, and perhaps one of the least understood, is diabetes. It afflicts millions of Americans, many of whom don't yet know they have it. Left undetected and unmanaged, it can bring on serious health complications. Tom Walton, editor of The Blade, looks at diabetes with his guest, Christina A. Staccia, herself a diabetic, as well as author of the book Diabetes Living, and program director of the A2Z Diabetes Resource Center in Columbus.
