Vision, Community, and Big Band Jazz
The Jazz Arts Group of Columbus began presenting Big Band Jazz concerts in 1972 and featured a who's who of America's finest Jazz artists on its stage. The success of the orchestra in Middle America had as much to do with the vision of its founder as it did with the many excellent Jazz musicians in Central Ohio.
