The Ohio Legislative Black Caucus Foundation (OLBCF) celebrates its 12th Annual African American Legislator's Day luncheon from the Statehouse Atrium. Critically acclaimed Wilberforce Chorus will perform, and the theme of this year's luncheon is "Seeing Beyond: Sustainable Progress in the Economic Recovery of Ohio". The Honorable Bakari Sellers, State Representative District 90 of South Carolina, is the featured speaker.
Each year the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus Foundation, a non-profit, non-partisan organization, hosts a luncheon to recognize the contributions of African American legislators and to honor corporate colleagues who have invested in the advancement of the African American community. Held during Black History Month, the luncheon brings together hundreds of community leaders and business partners from across Ohio. The luncheon also attracts former OLBC members and current members of the Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate.
