Thousands of lawsuits over the opioid crisis will begin Monday, as more than a dozen drug industry corporations make last minute appeals for trial settlements.
The litigation includes more than 2,000 separate cases brought up by cities, attorney generals and local governments from around the country, including cases from two Ohio counties.
Earlier this month, Johnson & Johnson reached a settlement of $20.4 with the affected Ohio areas.
