Description
Nearly one million teenagers stop going to school every year.

That's one million young people who are then more at risk for teen pregnancies, criminal behavior, and unemployment later on in life. Studies show that this one decision to drop out of school has many negative implications later on in life.

What can be done to prevent against these significant high school drop out rates? We'll talk about how programs and people are working to keep kids in school.

Guests:

* John Bridgeland (Member, White House Council for Community Solutions)

* Don Heard (Executive Director, Juvenile Justice Program , YMCA of Central Ohio)

* Pete Maneff (The Academic Acceleration Academy)
