Description
Health is influenced by a number of factors but for LGBTQ individuals, discrimination, stigma and exclusion can present a set of challenges when it comes to receiving health care. In Ohio, roughly 8 out every 1,000 babies that are born do not live to their first birthday, ranking Ohio 47th in the nation for infant mortality. Also, a new study reveals that essential oils can make the transition between different activities like eating and sleeping easier for kids with autism.

Guests:

Julia Applegate, LGBTQ Health Program Director at Columbus Public Health

Liane Egle, Executive Director of CelebrateOne

Dr. Jill Hollway, Assistant Professor of Research in the OSU Department of Psychiatry; Research Scientist at the OSU Wexner Medical Center's Nisonger Center
