All Sides with Ann Fisher

Description
COVID-19 has hit the arts community particularly hard. Concerts, theaters, shows, museums and other performance venues are canceled or closed, leaving thousands with no work and giving new meaning to the "starving artist" label.

The Greater Columbus Arts Council and others are stepping in to provide financial assistance, but the losses industry-wide may be hard to overcome.

Meanwhile, artists have turned to social media and online platforms to make sure the show goes on.

Today on All Sides with Ann Fisher, we discuss the arts in the age of COVID-19.

Guests:
Tom Katzenmeyer, president and CEO, Greater Columbus Arts Council
Nannette Maciejunes, executive director and CEO, Columbus Museum of Art
Krista Lively Stauffer, artist educator
Jon Juravich, art teacher and WOSU's Project Classroom "Drawing with Mr. J"
Linda Kass, owner of Gramercy Books, Bexley.
