All Sides with Ann Fisher

Description
The issue of campus sexual assault is among the first lessons young adults learn when they start college.

One in five women and one in 16 men are sexually assaulted while in college, and more than 90% of those assaults go unreported, according to the National Sexual Violence Resource Center.
But the overarching issue of who they are as sexual beings, and questions about how to navigate in a world of sexuality, power inequities and youth are rarely - and sometimes never - discussed.

Two Columbia University researchers have conducted one of the most in-depth studies of the issue, of how young adult college students relate to themselves and each other when it comes to sexuality.

Today on All Sides With Ann Fisher: sex, sexuality and power on college campuses.

Guests:
Jennifer Hirsch and Shamus Khan, authors of Sexual Citizens: A Landmark Study of Sex, Power, and Assault on Campus.
