Description
Coming out is a difficult experience for anyone who has to do it, but it can be especially challenging for those who have been in the closet for decades. Many LGBTQ individuals who grew up being expected to adhere to established gender roles have experienced difficulty letting go of a familiar lifestyle to embrace a part of their identity they hid from their families and communities for so long. Join us today with two authors who have written about coming out later in life.

Guests:
Karen McClintock, psychologist and author, "My Father's Closet"
Dr. Loren A. Olson, psychiatrist and author, "Finally Out: Letting Go of Living Straight"
