This week marks one year after a group of activists named the Black Pride 4 staged a protest at the 2017 Stonewall Columbus Pride Parade. The activists were arrested, and three of the four activists were convicted in February of six misdemeanor charges. In the fallout of the protest, the Columbus Pride Festival coordinator resigned and the director of Stonewall Columbus retired.
