All Sides with Ann Fisher

Description
This week marks the 99th annual observance of Women's Equality Day, which celebrates the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution, giving women the right to vote.

Women of color played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement, but they and the memory of their contributions have been swept aside.

Today on All Sides with Ann Fisher: women's suffrage and the role of women of color.

Guests:
Carol Lasser, retired professor of history, Oberlin College
Treva Lindsey, Ohio State University Professor of African American Women's History
Jen Miller, Director, League of Women Voters Ohio
