Private Universities are trying new methods to attract students and address sticker shock. Atlanta-based Oglethorpe University recently announced a price-matching program. Students who qualify for admissions will pay the same amount as the flagship public universities in their home state.
The Ohio State University is also trying to address rising costs by eliminating course fees and extending in-state tuition to more military families.
