Auditor of State Dave Yost unveils and demonstrates the "Ohio Stops Fraud" iPhone application at a press conference in the Auditor of State Ceremonial Office at the Ohio Statehouse. With the new app, any user can report fraud to the Auditor of State's office anytime, anywhere.
Users can report fraud on their iPhone by:
Answering a few short questions about what was witnessed
Attaching evidence using a photo or video
Submitting the exact location with GPS locator
Explaining what happened via a voice recorder
Other features include:
A report tracker that allows users to track the progress of their tip or complaint
A news section connecting users with what's happening at the Auditor of State's office
