Auditor of State Dave Yost : 2011-2019

Description
Auditor of State Dave Yost unveils and demonstrates the "Ohio Stops Fraud" iPhone application at a press conference in the Auditor of State Ceremonial Office at the Ohio Statehouse. With the new app, any user can report fraud to the Auditor of State's office anytime, anywhere.

Users can report fraud on their iPhone by:

Answering a few short questions about what was witnessed

Attaching evidence using a photo or video

Submitting the exact location with GPS locator

Explaining what happened via a voice recorder

Other features include:

A report tracker that allows users to track the progress of their tip or complaint

A news section connecting users with what's happening at the Auditor of State's office

To download "Ohio Stops Fraud" onto an iOS 7 iPhone 4 or later model, visit the Apple App store.

Each year, Auditor Yost receives hundreds of tips from public employees and concerned citizens online, by mail and by phone. More information about reporting fraud and the "Ohio Stops Fraud" app map be found online.
