BOOK NOTES is the Ohio Channel's interview show where host Dan Shellenbarger talks with Ohio authors and looks at books about Ohio.

Columbus-born Jacqueline Woodson has written more than 30 books. Her 2001 novel, Miracle Boys, won the Coretta Scott King Award and was ada pted into an award-winning mini-series. Her 2014 memoir and free verse, Brown Girl Dreaming, won the Newbury Award, the national book award for young people's literature, an NAACP Image Award, and an Ohioana Award.
