BOOK NOTES is the Ohio Channel's interview show where host Dan Shellenbarger talks with Ohio authors and looks at books about Ohio.

He's a nonfiction author, award-winning journalist, and Pulitzer Prize finalist. Columbus native Wil Haygood may be best known for his 2008 Washington Post article that inspired Lee Daniels' film THE BUTLER. Haygood's newest book, SHOWDOWN: THURGOOD MARSHALL AND THE SUPREME COURT NOMINATION THAT CHANGED AMERICA has been named one of the five "Books for Fall" by CBS Sunday Morning News.
