Governor Bob Taft

Description
Governor Bob Taft joins others at the Cleveland Clinic on April 18, 2005 to ceremoniously cut a ribbon to open the new Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute's Center for Genomic Research. The building will house the Clinic's portion of the Center for Adult Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, a collaboration between the Clinic, Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals, Athersys and Ohio State University. The project has received more than $19 million in Third Frontier Project funding to improve treatments of degenerative diseases and disorders. (Photo by Chris Kasson / Office of the Governor)
