Chancellor Eric Fingerhut and the Ohio Board of Regents hosted the "Community Conversations Tour" April 16 at Columbus State Community College. This public forum was the first stop on a 6-region tour joining college, business, civic and student leaders to discuss 10-year strategic plan on higher education.

The series of Community Conversation forums discuss his 10-year strategic plan on higher education delivered to Governor Strickland and the Ohio General Assembly March 31.

Chancellor Fingerhut provides an overview of the strategic plan and then moderates a discussion focused on college affordability with a panel of community college and university officials, business, civic and student leaders including:

Valeriana Moeller, President, Columbus State Community College;
Joe Alluto, Provost, The Ohio State University;
John Stanford, Executive Assistant, Education Policy, The State of Ohio;
Rep. Ted Celeste, Ohio General Assembly;
Shaun Yoder, Executive Director, Business Alliance for Higher Education and the Economy (BAHEE);
Connie Myers, Student, Columbus State Community College; and
Donna Alvarado, Chair, Board of Regents.
