Description
Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland announces Kevin Boyce as the new state treasurer, effective Jan. 6, 2009. Boyce will complete the term of Richard Cordray, who was elected to the Office of Ohio Attorney General on November 4, 2008.

Boyce has served on the Columbus City Council since 2000, and currently serves as the chair of its Finance Committee.
