Governor Ted Strickland

Description
The Ohio Supreme Court recently ruled that Gov. Ted Strickland's video lottery terminal proposal is subject to referendum. As a result, the governor proposed three options to balance the state budget: to raise the state sales tax, cut $851 million from Ohio schools, or freeze the income tax rate.

With additional remarks by Tax Commissioner Richard Levin and the governor's legal counsel Kent Marcus.
