Secretary of State Jon Husted : 2011-2019

Description

The Ballot Board met to consider and certify the ballot language for three statewide issues appearing on the November 2011 ballot. The board received public comment on the ballot language and explanation for the following initiatives:

Issue 1 :: House Joint Resolution 1 - Judicial Age Limit Increase Constitutional Amendment proposed by the General Assembly,

Issue 2 :: Senate Bill 5 Referendum

Issue 3 :: Health Care Freedom Act Constitutional Amendment proposed by initiative petition.

Secretary Jon Husted serves as chair of the Ballot Board and oversees the board's proceedings. Other members of the Ballot Board include: Mark Griffin; State Senator Keith Faber; William N. Morgan; and Fred Strahorn. Ballot Board meetings are open to the public.
