Description
Rep. Anne Gonzales (R-Westerville) and Sen. Kevin Bacon (R-Minerva Park), with Major General Mark Bartman, present the Medal of Distinction to Rod and Elizabeth Reynolds, whose son, Army Sergeant Titus Reynolds, was killed in Afghanistan in 2009.

The Medal of Distinction is an award from the Ohio Adjutant General to a member of the armed forces who loses his or her life in service to their country. The award is typically presented to the deceased individual's next of kin. House Bill 532 from the 129th General Assembly allowed additional family members to receive a copy of the award.
