The Ohio Legislative Black Caucus (OLBC) Foundation hosts the 13th Annual African American Legislators' Day Luncheon on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in the Statehouse Atrium. The Fort Hayes Metropolitan Singers and Napier Ramsey perform, and the theme of this year's luncheon is "Leadership in Challenging Times." The featured speaker is Roland Martin, national commentator, author, and columnist with Creators Syndicate.
Each year the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus Foundation, a non-profit, non-partisan organization, hosts a luncheon to recognize the contributions of African American legislators and to honor corporate colleagues who have invested in the advancement of the African American community. Held during Black History Month, the luncheon brings together hundreds of community leaders and business partners from across Ohio. The luncheon also attracts former OLBC members and current members of the Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate.
