Three officers, who died while serving in 2012, were honored this year:
- Officer Frank Mancini, Akron Police Department
- Officer Jason Gresko, Willoughby Police Department
- Officer Marcia Figueroa, Cleveland Police Department


Three historical inductions were also added this year, after their departments discovered through research that they had made the ultimate sacrifice for their communities many years ago:
