Attorney General Mike DeWine and the Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy honor fallen officers during the 27th annual state memorial service.

Jonathan Russell "Russ" Long of the Akron Police Department was honored this year. He died in 2013 as a result of injuries sustained from a 1991 car accident.

- Rea C. Horlocker, Delaware County Sherriff's Office - 1924
- James F. Elliot, Columbiana County Sherriff's Office - 1930
- Edward D. Piller, Salem Police Department - 1936
- Joseph Rigney, Rome Township Police Department - 1952
