Description
The 2009 Ohio State Fair Junior and Open Sheep Shearing Contest was held on July 31 at Brown Arena. Participants were judged by representatives of the Ohio Sheep Shearers Association using the following parameters:

-Handling of Sheep

-Absence of Cuts on Sheep

-Absence of Second Cuts in Fleece

-Time for Shearing

-Condition of Fleece
