Press Conference

Description
State Senators Joe Schiavoni (D-Boardman) and Cliff Hite (R-Findlay) hold a news conference at the Ohio Statehouse to announce legislation to give more Ohioans access to broadband internet service. Currently, 300,000 rural households and 88,500 Ohio businesses do not have broadband access. This hinders economic development and limits employment opportunities. Senators Schiavoni and Hite discuss their innovative approach to funding more broadband infrastructure across Ohio.

Joining the senators are Stu Johnson, Connect Ohio and Patrick Kerrigan, Oak Hill Collaborative.
