State Rep. John E. Barnes, Jr. (D - Cleveland) holds a press conference in the Netzley Room of the Ohio Statehouse to discuss HB 241, which will establish the Ohio Diabetes Registry.

The purpose of the registry is to monitor the incidence of each type of diabetes in this state. H.B. No. 241 allows the Ohio Department of Health to accept and administer grants from the federal government or other sources, public or private, for carrying out this purpose.
