Governor Bob Taft

Description
First Lady Hope Taft accepts a plaque from Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center Director Andrea DeLong-Amaya (right) at a Garden Tea at the Governor's Residence on May 2, 2006. The event officially designates the Governor's Residence Heritage Garden as an affiliate of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, Texas. The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, co-founded by former Presidential First Lady Lady Bird Johnson, is dedicated to protecting North America's native plants and natural landscapes in order to educate people on their environmental importance.
