Description
Millions of families have lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender parents. On today's show, we will talk about unique challenges -- perhaps dealing with prejudice and discrimination or the stress that can cause -- and how these families cope and thrive. And what about the issues families confront when straight parents learn their child is gay or questioning their gender? We'll explore all this and more.

Guests:

Brynna Fish

Frank Groh-Wargo

Phyllis Harris, executive director of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Community Center of Greater Cleveland

Vanessa Jensen, Psy.D, Cleveland Clinic

Charlotte Patterson, PhD, professor of psychology and director of the Women, Gender and Sexuality Program, University of Virginia
