The Sound of Ideas

Description
Housing and retail developments have sprawled throughout our region in the last few decades, gobbling up open space. But preserving undeveloped land is important, too. We'll talk with leaders of several land conservation organizations in Northeast Ohio working to grow public parks, maintain natural habitats and preserve farm land. A conversation about how preservation works, who pays for it and why it's important to the region.

Guests:

Jim Rokakis, Director, Thriving Cities Institute, Western Reserve Land Conservancy

Rich Cochran, President, Western Reserve Land Conservancy

Bill Carroll, Ohio State Director, Trust for Public Land

Bill Stanley, Director of Conservation, The Nature Conservancy in Ohio
