President Obama recently announced that he wants to spend $100 million in his 2014 budget to support efforts to map the human brain. We know a lot about the brain already, but there is so much more we don't know. What benefits will come from learning more about how brain cells communicate with one another? Will employing so much brain power to map the brain help treat Alzheimer's or Autism?
