The Sound of Ideas

Description
Neighbors of a local golf course are teeing off on a plan to bring a shopping mall and high end condos to what once were the fairways of Oakwood Country Club. There's already plenty of retail shopping, opponents say. What they want is 154 acres of parkland straddling Cleveland Heights and South Euclid. The question resonates in communities across the region: How much retail is too much? How much parkland is enough?

Guests:

Fran Mentch, president, Severance Neighborhood Organization

Robin Dubin, Professor of Economics, CWRU Weatherhead School of Management

Mitch Schneider, President and Chairman, First Interstate Properties, Ltd.
