A judge recently ordered that Fox Searchlight Pictures should have been compensating two unpaid interns who worked on the set of Black Swan. That's pushed unpaid internships into the spotlight, and triggered a wave of similar lawsuits. But an internship could lead to a job, and not every workplace can afford to pay interns.
