Description
Your grandchild calls from their spring break trip, needing some emergency cash after a traffic accident. A sign outside the unemployment office proclaims "Make $260,000 at home". An online scalper is offering killer seats at the World Series, but you gotta act fast with your credit card. And a temporary Halloween boutique says your paid costume order is in the mail...for the third week in a row. Economic hard times and the holiday season are bringing out some new and aggressive scams, and even sophisticated, savvy people are falling for them. We'll talk to state officials, and consumer affairs and protection experts about the latest in frauds and schemes, and how to tell if you're being targeted.

Mike DeWine,, Ohio Attorney General

Jon Steiger, Director of the Federal Trade Commission's East Central Region

Sheryl Harris, Consumer Columnist, The Plain Dealer
