The Sound of Ideas

Description
The Healthy Cleveland Initiative, a partnership between the city and four major hospitals, seeks to make Northeast Ohioans more fit by promoting better choices. But it doesn't simply entail education and encouragement. There's legislation in the works in Cleveland that would further limit where smokers can light up and bans transfats in local restaurants. Critics think the city is over-reaching.

Guests:

Joe Cimperman, Cleveland City Council

Dr. Gilbert Ross, executive and medical director, American Council on Science and Health

Dr. Michael Anderson, VP and associate chief medical officer, University Hospitals

Bernie Sokolowski, restaurateur, Sokolowski's University Inn
