Description
It's a first for the United States, the second impeachment of a president.

On January 13, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to impeach Trump on a single article of "incitement to insurrection" after a brisk two-hour debate.

This followed the horrific events that occured at the Capitol building on January 6th, when pro-Trump mobs stormed the building, hoping to disrupt the certification of the election of now President Joe Biden. Five people died and more were injured as a result of that failed insurrection.

The vote in the House fell mostly along party lines, with 10 Republicans breaking ranks and voting for the impeachment.

The trial of President Trump moves to the Senate tomorrow, where many predict the vote will fall mostly along party lines--failing to convict President Trump. But this is a historic moment nonetheless. And we can still see the influence that the former president has on the GOP even after being out of office.

On today's program we'll preview the second impeachment trial.

Later in the hour, we'll discuss the urban farming movement in Cleveland.

For years, it was the latest trend, but with the forced closures of two urban farms on the city's Eastside, it calls into question how the city views these farms as uses of space.

Lastly on the program, we'll hear about tonight's Science Cafe lecture from Case Western Reserve University.

The speaker and a team of experts are using the lastest in artificial intelligence technologies to try and discover and predict diseases in order to save more lives.
