Description
Spurred by protests after the death of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis, Ohio's governor and attorney general last week unveiled reforms for police in Ohio, including a ban on chokeholds in most cases and a requirement that new recruits undergo psychological evaluation. Critics say it doesn't do nearly enough to address the root problem -- racism in the ranks. We'll discuss with Attorney General Dave Yost. A bit later, we'll invite Ohio House Minority Leader Emilia Sykes, who has said that the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus was not consulted.

Guests:
Dave Yost, Attorney General, State of Ohio

State Rep. Emilia Sykes, (D-Akron), Ohio House Minority Leader

Andy Chow, Statehouse News Bureau Reporter, Ohio Public Radio/TV
