The Sound of Ideas

Description
In the United States, 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from an eating disorder at some time in their life, and the typical age they start is around 14 to 16 years old, high-school age. But if caught and treated early, full recovery is possible. On The Sound of Ideas, we'll discuss how schools can be an aid to families dealing with disorders like anorexia and bulimia, and how we can all be better at detecting signs of dangerous eating habits. Then, we'll get an update on the progress of the Community Police Commission as it nears its two-year anniversary. And, the latest news from the Statehouse.
