Description
Last month, Evin King walked out of the Cuyahoga County Jail released after spending more than two decades behind bars for a murder he insisted he did not commit. The work of the Ohio Innocence Project and a fresh look at DNA evidence by the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office led to King's 1995 conviction being vacated. We'll talk to lawyers from the Ohio Innocence project as well as the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor about the case and what impact such cases may have on the judicial system. Plus, we'll meet a man who ended up on the wrong side of justice after being implicated in a separate innocence movement case in Illinois. The documentary is the work of a local filmmaker.

Guests:
-Michael O'Malley, Prosecutor, Cuyahoga County
-Kristen Sobieski, Appeals Unit Supervisor, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office
-Brian Howe, Assistant Professor of Clinical Law, The University of Cincinnati; The Ohio Innocence Project
-Carrie Wood, Assistant Public Defender, Hamilton County
-Shawn Rech, Filmmaker, Director, "A Murder in the Park"
-Alstory Simon, Released, Freed After Wrongful Conviction
