Description
While Cleveland's downtown resurgence gets plenty of local and national attention, in some neighborhoods there is a different narrative. In those areas, youth violence tears at the fabric of family and community life. It's a complex issue Cleveland is facing with no easy fix. We'll talk to reporters from The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com about a new reporting project that looks at what's working elsewhere and talk to community leaders about what might work here. Plus, the Transplant Games of America brings a six-day sports competition to Cleveland.

Guests:

-George Rodrigue, Editor, The Cleveland Plain Dealer
-Brie Zeltner, Health Reporter, The Cleveland Plain Dealer
-Rachel Dissell, Reporter, The Cleveland Plain Dealer
-Michael Walker, Executive Director, Partnership for a Safer Cleveland
-Daniel J. Flannery, Ph.D; Director of the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, Case Western Reserve University
-Bill Ryan, Executive Director, Transplant Games of America
-Colleen Gerber, Two-time kidney recipient, Co-Manager for Team Ohio
-Randy Oyaski, Double-lung recipient
