Description
Attorney General Mike DeWine leads a field of eight gubernatorial candidates with the most money in his war chest. He leads his three Republican opponents, as well as the four Democrats, who were way behind their Republican counterparts when it comes to fundraising. The Ohio Department of Education is pulling more money out of its monthly funding for ECOT, the embattled online charter school. Auditor Dave Yost says it's important to hold more funding from ECOT, arguing that ECOT likely doesn't have the number of students to match the amount of money they're getting.

If you need to buy some school supplies for the kids or even some new clothes for yourself, this might be the weekend to do it. You won't pay sales tax on many items purchased in Ohio because of the state's sales tax holiday. Statehouse correspondent Jo Ingles has details.

Five insurance companies are ready to step up and provide health coverage for 11,000 Ohioans who will be left behind when Anthem leaves the state. But there's still one county without a single insurance provider under the exchange. Talking about that change and several other state issues are Jackie Borchardt of Cleveland.com, Jim Siegel of the Columbus Dispatch, and Jo Ingles and host Andy Chow from Ohio Public Radio and Television's Statehouse News Bureau.
